"Real luxury. Very nice room and bathroom, clean, big, …all you need is there. Silent for good sleeping, beds and pillows very good. Excellent staff, smiling, helpfull. Pool on 30 floor was GREAT, empty, we were there alone at evening 7pm (after our cruise) also next day morning 10:30am, ideal for swimming. Whirpool was fantastic. Very nice view to Ha Long Bay limestone islands from there. Breakfast was … wow, fantastic. If you are in Hanoi and thinking about daily cruise only, then stay here after the cruise, do not return on evening to Hanoi. It is very nice place, relax, enjoy hotel amenities and return next day, check-out is noon so you have enough time (or move to next step on your journey, we go to Ninh Binh from here and hotel members also booked the travel for us with direct pickup here, better price than on Vexere). I really recommend this place. Need to say, early morning running 10km during sunrise on empty beach was fantastic - then whirpool, breakfast, chilling, swimming… great time here after 3 days in hectic Hanoi and day cruise in Ha Long Bay."

"The staff were awesome! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It was their first anniversary. The massage we had at the spa was wonderful. A new hotel with a great breakfast buffet, we stayed 2 weeks and tried all we could, including dim sum. The hotel was located on a Main Street near lots of shops and restaurants. Special mention to Dat at reception that spoke great English and made several recommendations and Trang at the restaurant for her hospitality and great smile when we came down for meals. "

"Great view from room, but this hotel charged for every little thing, including water for the room, pool tables in lounge, other games for kids, hotel shuttle to/from town. Need to leave a deposit in order to charge to the room at all. Overcharging for room service. Only one restaurant open at a time. Lights that wouldn't turn off in one room - staff solved the problem by cutting the wire to the light altogether. Not all that many options for hotels on Cat Ba, so this looked good comparatively, but it did not live up to the rating. "
