"Right in the middle of old town…. Comfortable room and incredibly helpful host. Restaurants and shops nearby. Great place to stay!"

"We had an incredible time! The team helped us book activities, suggested plans based on our interests, were extremely kind and welcoming and the room and amenities were spectacular. To top it off the food was incredible! The breakfast greek yogurt with fruit and granola was my favorite ever. We cant wait to go back!"

"Super close to Old Chania Market. Coffee shop nearby. Easy, central walk to everything. Staff was super nice and helpful."

"La chambre est grande et spacieuse avec vue directe sur la mer. Très belle salle de bain spacieuse. On nous a réservé une place de stationnement juste en face, il faut dire qu’on est hors saison. "A truly fabulous hotel, such a wonderful experience. Beautifully decorated, authentic and luxurious. The hosts were just lovely, full of helpful advice, recommendations and local history. A fab location close to the old port and old town. A short walk to the town beach. Couldn’t recommend this more highly. Thank you Alex & Andreas"

"This is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town with character and charm."

"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

"It’s a small boutique hotel, very beautiful. No amenities. Breakfast is limited. I booked because it was one of the only hotels that mentioned parking but when I arrived, I found out it was an additional cost."

"Beautiful small boutique hotel with great views of old town harbor. Excellent location and Jennifer was very helpful. A perfect place from which to explore Chania"
