"A wonderful find. More of a bed and breakfast on a working farm. Room is not very big but it does have a private bathroom. The hosts offer a lovely continental breakfast included, as well as parking. It is very quiet and restful. Chickens often cross your path. There is also a working mill which generates power. The host is very nice. There is a an excellent restaurant a 5 minute drive away called Chenin, suggested by the host. Not to be missed."

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte and plentiful. A nice variety of eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cheese and meats. We were just there for one night driving through to Paris. It fit our needs perfectly."

Alexandra was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, and even went out of her way to arrange a dinner reservation for us one evening, which we really appreciated. The pool was also beautifully maintained and a lovely place to relax. Overall, a fantastic stay with wonderful hospitality — we would thoroughly recommend it!"
