"Great location for sequoia park, lovely shared areas including the lobby and the pizza deck. Didn’t eat in the restaurant. Lodges far from the lobby but not a problem. Ice machine broken for half the stay. Lovely star gazing trip in the evening run by the national park."

Stony Creek Lodge

8/10 Good
"The place was really cute and cozy for a hotel built in 1940s. It was clean and the buffet breakfast was exactly what you would expect with the option to purchase other hot breakfast food.. the only minor complaint was the mattress felt a little lumpy, but that could have been my hip acting up also. Highly recommend if looking for an authentic lodge."

Cedar Grove Lodge

8/10 Good
"The lodge is about 30 miles from the park entrance on mountain roads so much less crowded, quieter, ready to enjoy nature. The lodge is old and small but our room was clean and comfortable. Shower and air conditioning in working order with wifi, no TV. The lodge is next to the river, the grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is a market in the building. We enjoyed our visit."
