"This was a perfect hotel from my son and me. We enjoyed being so close to the Colosseum and other great historical sites. There are a lot of restaurants and other shops near by. The staff was helpful when we had questions. Our room was so clean and we would totally stay here in the future."

"We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Hotel Lancelot. The location is excellent a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and a stones throw from San Clemente and its excavations (well worth a vist).
A lovely continental breakfast was included (selection of pastries, jams, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cold meats, cheeses etc). We never tried the dinners but heard they are excellent. Staff are happy to recommend local restaurants...again great recommendations.
All staff were friendly and so helpful...

"We stayed here for 3 nights. This place is only 10 to 15 minute walking distance to Colosseum and Metro Train and close to restaurants and convenient stores.
This place was very clean and everything worked well including air conditioning and fridge.
I would definitely come back to this place if I visit Rome again."

"Me gustó mucho la ubicación eso no lo voy a negar, pero la atención pésima, nunca me dieron opciones para el check in, llegué y no había nadie para recibirme y ni instrucciones al llegar, tuve que bajar y pedir ayuda. Pudimos ingresar hasta que alguien más de los inquilinos nos dejó pasar. El aire acondicionado súper ruidoso así como el extractor de aire.

"Being own lotion. Shampoo. The upper room was 4 flights of stairs. We moved to a smaller room with one flight. Close the outside shutters to keep the disco noise down.

"The kitchen cabinet smells like mildrew. One bed in the loft and no closet. One sleeper sofa in the lounge. One sleeper sofa in the reading room. Both were very uncomfortable and hard. Washing machine was possessed. Secret Garden was a boxed patio. No balcony as in the pictures online. And still no closet. This unit’s pictures are buried in the description but nothing is said about it. The listing shows a beautiful balcony with a view. Large rooms and living areas. We had none of that. ...

"Perfect location for the Colosseum and Forum. Easy access to the Metro to reach other areas like the Vatican. Excellent nearby restaurants, which are good value, even those adjacent to the sites, that was a surprise!
The hotel is great, our executive room was marvellous, spacious, clean and importantly quiet. Effective blackout curtains and air con. In room safe was excellent and sturdy.
Breakfast was generous and all encompassing of any taste. You can look at the Colosseum from the roof top...

"Location, location, location - this place was small, but nice, room was clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Bathroom could use a remodel. Steps to the loft bedroom area were a little tough. The main thing this place has to offer is that it is in an easy walking distance of the Colosseum. As well as transportation and shops restaurants it was convenient and it worked out well for us. 🙏👍 if I ever needed to do any of the activities around the Colosseum again I would definitely stay here."

"Excellent location for most of the central attractions in Rome as most of them are walkable. Hotel is really clean and the mosaics on the floors and walls are stunning. This was our second stay at this hotel and would defo consider it again for whenever we go back.
The hotel owners as generally onsite who are super friendly, and keen to help with any questions and local advice as well."
