A little confusing to find on the first try. It is an apartment complex in a gated neighborhood that has been converted into an apartment hotel. A little confusing to find on the first try. The address will get you really close on Google or Apple maps. Great for people who rent a car and want to cook some of thier own meals. Nearest grocery store is more than a mile away. 2 miles from the central commercial area and 5 miles from the beach. A great option for people who want to 'freestyle' their time in Tulum away from the hotel zone. It was easy for us, we both speak Spanish and are comfortable driving around town. "

"The staff was amazing! Each day you were greeted with a big smile and told to enjoy your day! Each night you were greeted with an even bigger smile and wanted to know about all your adventures. Rooms were very clean and comfortable! We are sad to leave as we met so many people at the hotel (staff) and around the town that became like family! "Phenomenal experience at Amari. We had a group of 4 in one of their STUNNING villas, everything there is carefully thought out and very comfortable. Their complimentary shuttle service was a huge plus in navigating tulum taxis/traffic, and the entire team of staff (big shoutout to Charlie!) went above and beyond to make our stay a dream. The food at the restaurant and the massages we all got were also wonderful. Such a relaxing few days, we will absolutely be coming back to this paradise. "Gorgeous property, gorgeous beach. We had such an amazing, memorable time here. We LOVED this location. So many exceptional food spots and boutiques just steps away. All the places you'll want to visit and things you'll want to do (cenotes, art museums, ruins, snorkeling, ziplining) are less than 30 minutes away. We stayed for a week in late November and saw no sargassum, had great weather, and it wasn't crazy busy anywhere. The beach was idyllic. We rented a car and were able to park for free in their lot across the street. Other nearby parking is also really affordable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only caveat is that there is a good deal of loud music from the neighboring hotel and the bar across the street almost all the time. The rooms are pretty soundproof, so it didn't bother us at night, but it does set more of a party vibe on the beach. "
