"The staff was nice. We stayed in room 250 and it was VERY loud with traffic noise our first night. I bought ear plugs from the lobby for $3 and our second night wasn’t as bad. Not sure if it was due to the ear plugs (as I could still hear some noise) or if the traffic just wasn’t as bad… The kids said they could hear showering down stairs when they were trying to sleep. Other than that, it’s a good hotel for the price. The free breakfast was a nice perk. The pool seemed small for the property...

"This place felt more like an Airbnb. Virtual front desk which I never got the pre-checkin link for so I was a little stressed figuring out what our room was and the code. Then the room we got was noisy. We were facing the street and the windows didn’t help with the noise. Also, our bed linens were dirty and since there was no staff around I was not sure how to notify anyone or if there was anyone who could have helped us. "The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice."

"We arrived a little early to request a top floor away from the road and we were told it was possible, but would take longer. We said it was not a problem. When we returned later, no rooms were available, and so we waited longer. Nearly an hour later we were given a room facing the frontage road and the freeway. Did not sleep well that night due to the road noise. Hotel was not as clean and maintained as most Hampton Inn. Very disappointing."

I did notice a mattress topper tucked under the bed that looked like it might have a stain, so it may be worth double‑checking those kinds of details. Other than that, no real complaints. "No ice machine, coffee maker, and ac hardly worked and kept shutting off. Floors were really dirty, black mold in bathrooms. The beds were nice, but it was hard to sleep because the blinds and shutters were broken. Really needs an update. I paid almost 500 for 1 night, they shouldn't charge that much for such a rundown place even in the summer! Pool was empty."
