"The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice."

"Great hotel. Love the ambiance, very Western, warm colors, lots of art, and stuff like a horse saddle. Love the architecture, the arches, the bell, the garden area. Thank god it does NOT look corporate!! Too many hotels going grey or beige, but this place stands out for the better. Pool was very nice and warm, and hot tub was great. The room was spacious and comfy. I liked that the microwave and refrigerator were exposed so it's easy to get to. And LOVED The drawers.... I feel like hotels never...

"You can't be taller than 5'6 to be under the shower. Walls are paper thin and can hear all conversations in the next room. Defiantly bring your own pillow. The Wi-Fi is terrible and you can't watch TV or sign into Netflix it continues to refresh and you have to go out and back in continually."

"We arrived a little early to request a top floor away from the road and we were told it was possible, but would take longer. We said it was not a problem. When we returned later, no rooms were available, and so we waited longer. Nearly an hour later we were given a room facing the frontage road and the freeway. Did not sleep well that night due to the road noise. Hotel was not as clean and maintained as most Hampton Inn. Very disappointing."

"I had a great stay. nothing overly fancy, but exactly what I needed. The room was clean, safe, and everything worked properly. I did notice a mattress topper tucked under the bed that looked like it might have a stain, so it may be worth double‑checking those kinds of details. Other than that, no real complaints. The staff were very kind and always available. They let me check out, leave my car, have breakfast, and come back for it afterward, which I really appreciated. And I love that dogs...

"No ice machine, coffee maker, and ac hardly worked and kept shutting off. Floors were really dirty, black mold in bathrooms. The beds were nice, but it was hard to sleep because the blinds and shutters were broken. Really needs an update. I paid almost 500 for 1 night, they shouldn't charge that much for such a rundown place even in the summer! Pool was empty."
