"A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. "Needs a renovation. Rooms were disgusting and rundown. Our room stunk of smoke and stagnant air. Went to open window which was full of black mold. Last two inches of stick used to secure window was all black mold. Have tried calling management three times and they are always gone for an emergency. Have not returned any of my calls. "

"I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible"

"New property. Clean, modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, but we were only staying one night. It was quiet. We saw several deer in the adjacent field when we woke up! Breakfast was standard. I prefer more fresh fruit options. Overall a good stay."
