First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy. If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill. Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city). Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough.

Very large room with amazing view from the balcony overlooking acres of land and the lake. High ceilings and very spacious room. The bathroom was just as big equipped with a very large bath and large shower. The decor is amazing, the air-con was great, the rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfy. The hotel & grounds were wonderful. There was loads of wildlife, including mongeese, monitor lizzards, grey slender loris & a resident crocodile. The room, restaurant & swimming pool were all excellent. There were also plenty of places to sit & read outside the room eg a library area.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s spoiled us at the start of a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Our next hotel was a real let down after Ulagalla!!

98 Acres is a special property and we were so excited to stay here on our trip in Sri Lanka. The resort did not disappoint and I will always think back to our stay here with fond memories. The view from the rooms is breath taking and there is lots to do within walking distance (Little Adam's Peak and Ella Bridge) which is a bonus). The staff were great, especially in the restaurant. I hope to be back one day.

Badminton was good fun! Tree planting signage and labelling was very interesting and engaging. But the most amazing part was the Sri Lankan food. The Hoppers were phenomenal and the potato curry at breakfast sublime!

Staff was very helpful and attentive. They personally looked into our needs and requirements in every moment. Special thanks to Psindu and Rukshan, for making our stay comfortable and memorable. Property itself is situated in a most scenic mountain range of Hantana, where many excursions are possible for wandering visitors. I would definitely come back during my next holiday.

We stayed at the Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge for two nights. We had a fantastic time celebrating Christmas here in this incredibly beautiful place. Pictures truly do not do it justice. The food was amazing and the facilities are just gorgeous. We loved our little ‘tent’ that was tucked away on the side of the mountain. Our only complaint the entire time was that we asked for two glasses of champagne to be sent to our room and instead we received a glass of something that was definitely not...

There are many positives Excellent lay out Mind blowing walking places ...simply wow . .just continue walking among the trees !!! Superb food choices Electric buggy ride to room and back ...as many times Fantastic hotel staff ....with our extensive travel in many places in world we wpuld treat this as probably the best

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. In the middle of the forest, this is a hidden little gem, with lovely spacious clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, and a luxury lodge like feel! It was out of season, so the hotel was quite quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves. I imagine this is the perfect spa retreat in peak season!

On the first night we arrived around 11pm. The resort itself was empty and there were a number of bugs all over the floors and hallways leading to the rooms. We had asked for two single beds but our room had a double bed. The staff we’re very helpful and friendly in correcting our room. The room itself was very clean with minimal mosquitoes.
