"Quaint little place to stay right before heading up to Sequoia. Staff was really nice, and the lobby area was cute. A light breakfast is served in the mornings (with a waffle maker!) and the room was perfectly comfortable for a brief overnight stay. The mini fridge wasn't working but I didn't need to use it."

"This is not a fancy-schmancy hotel but it was perfect for a birder on a budget and had everything I needed at half the price of the place up the street. Well, almost everything - a blow dryer would have made it perfect! The check-in dude was funny and helpful and there's an EV charging station just down the street so I'd definitely stay here again. But think about adding blow dryers. Even birders like to look their best!"

"Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river. Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake. Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away."
