"It was a very special and unforgettable experience spending one night at a floating island hotel on Titicaca Lake, though the conditions were not that as good as staying in a "real hotel" in the city and it was freezing at night. "Great location - easy walk to main square. Room was nice. Staff didn't speak much English but we muddled through. Main complaint was with breakfast.... supposed to be 6-8:30. We went down at 6:50, and none of the hot items were put out. What WAS available was pretty lame."
