"This is not your premium 5 star experience but appears to be priced accordingly - value for money, excellent. The hotel lacks technology - a paucity of plugs and USB ports in the rooms - but makes up with quiet rooms, amazing views and super showers. The breakfast is good but disappointing fresh juice was extra. The wifi a shocker - is the Chinese censored version so most sites - BBC news, WhatsApp, Facbook etc - are blocked."

"Michael at the front desk was wonderful. Last year I booked 3 nights here but unfortunately for me I had to leave after only 1 night and because I had used a 3rd party booking site they couldn't refund my money. But this year Michael remembered me from last years situation and upgraded my room for free trying very hard to make up some of the money I lost last year. Now that's real old fashioned customer service. I can't thank him enough for the kindness he showed me."

"The Westin Bund Center in Shanghai is a wonderful hotel. The location was very convenient to both Yu Garden and Nanjing Road. Staff was very helpful and was eager to help us. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive to our needs."
