"This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. "Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

"Location fantastic,staff very friendly, breakfast was great parking was ok too. The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . Well my room showed no sign of that, the paint was peeling, the room was noisy, not helped by the fact that we couldn’t close the window. Gary Elelman 9-10 April"

Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. "Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "Friendly staff and very clean and tidy rooms. We were on the 2nd floor so the views were very nice too. There is on-site parking available for a fee but make sure to reserve your spot in advance. Breakfast was complimentary and it was a buffet so a variety to choose from and You can make your own fresh waffles!!!! Overall great experience. "

"Stayed two nights 26/27 March. The de luxe double was an excellent room very comfortable bed had a really good night sleep. Bath in the bathroom a positive. Breakfast on first day a full english really well cooked next day on the Saturday had eggs royale really good."
