" A beautiful property, lots of charm. A large room with lovely little details. A nice street in Chepstow too. Lots of amenities & extras, very helpful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. My only complaint is that I found the mattress was uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in places. "

"What a gorgeous hotel. The garden room for the girls (our two Standard Poodles 💕) was absolutely perfect, they even had their own gift boxes and beds waiting for them, which was such a bonus. The team at The Royal George were wonderful, and Kirsty in particular couldn’t do enough for us. The whole place is spotless, beautifully thought through, and felt hugely welcoming. "This was a great place to stay, small but lots of attention to detail and the staff were so accommodating. The room was quirky and well decorated. The selection of food was good and seemed to be excellent quality and beautifully cooked and presented. Would stay again!"

"Absolutely brilliant hotel and I love staying here. I stay here quite a lot and the reception, kitchen and maids are the loveliest and most professional people in the hotel industry. Couldn’t say enough nice things about this place. Rooms are lovely, beds are comfy and breakfast is class!. Only thing I would say is that the A/C doesn’t really work too well and takes a while for the room to cool down, so it is a little warm in the room for my liking, but that is it.
