"We enjoyed a quick getaway at the GG Barnum Mansion. The property was beautiful and quiet, and our room was quite comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely, and we enjoyed a muffin and coffee on our way out. We would have enjoyed using the sauna if we had had a bit more time. "

"You need a code to enter this property and access your room. We booked through Expedia which stated that we would receive our code via email within 24 hrs of check-in. However, I checked my email several times with that time period and never received a code. Upon arrival at the property shortly after 4:00, a sign on the door also stated our code would be sent via email. We never received anything. Other guests arriving at the same time also had not received a code. Upon messaging the company...

"First timer staying at a Hostel. Didn’t know what to expect. Easy parking and friendly staff made it pleasurable."

"Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

"I paid extra to stay lake side. But you can’t really see the lake on the 2nd floor. The hotel itself is old. Kind of run down. The breakfast is mediocre at best. The rooms are small, bathrooms are very small. Staff are interesting. Check in guy was nice but odd. Breakfast guy was kind of rude. The only thing I really liked was it was easy to get to from downtown and there are multiple fast food places near including a coffee shop. I would not stay here again, especially not for the price I paid."
