"The hotel is easy walking distance to the train station and city centre. The hotel is well maintained. The Reception staff were very helpful especially Kurt providing useful information on Chester. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good every day we stayed. Roger was very organised in serving us the hot breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"Stayed here on a Thursday overnighter with my hubby, it doesn't look much from outside, but step inside and what a little gem!
This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower.
We had a delicious full cooked breakfast made for us the following morning.

"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site
The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

"Nice looking hotel with a quirky feature, deco is nice so the garden area, BUT! Important bit which is the mattress and pillows are so bad. Mattress is too soft and could hit the floor if you sit on the edge. Pillows are lumpy, you know I mean by lumpy.
