"The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was really clean and well equipped. Breakfast was busy and some items were in short supply...but this was due to a late delivery. The staff were very apologetic about this. Gluten free bread was provided for us...all done with a smile! The hotel was easy to find and within easy reach of Southampton port...we definitely stay here again."

Another minus was the room was very warm but the air con is disabled so you can't even use it! Expedia lists air con as an amenity so guests should be able to use what they're paying for. "We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel...

"Was close enough to the bus stop to walk and close enough to the cruise port to walk. Forgot face cloths are not a thing a Europe…remember your fave cloths if traveling from North America. Hotel has a great vibe; staff were friendly and helpful. "
