"The hotel check in gal went above and beyond to help us when we checked in for the night. She offered to make us hot water in her personal teapot so we could enjoy a cup of tea. Very nice!!"

"Parking was good."

"We love returning to the Valley View cottages. It is clean, comfortable, so relaxing too. The goats are so sweet too! The kitchen is perfectly outfitted with everything you need for preparing food- the bed was comfortable and it was so quiet. We will continue to come back! Perfect peaceful stay."

"The property was beautiful and obviously old. Our original room was cold ( windows open) and the small wall heater was slow to heat. We upgraded and such a difference. Beautiful and spacious. Again a small wall heater was ineffective in heating the room, but we were provided a small space heater."

"Harbor view was excellent."

"We had the accessible room and it all that we needed. The only negative was the bed was too hard for me. The breakfast room is small, but the staff was working hard to keep it clean"

"Was given a wore out room and was probably the one used most next to office came home with athlete's foot that look like MRSA no I would not stay here again"

"I don't know exactly but I would say I've stayed here 6-7 times. I'm local and go out there for a little staycation, all alone, because it's the nicest, cleanest hotel on the peninsula, IMO. I don't really gamble, I just like to go hide out in my room. I get food from The House of Seven Brothers or Napolis and bring it upstairs, always excellent. It's all about the quiet alone time and the food! In the mornings I grab a coffee drink from the shop downstairs which also has snacks and gifts, et...

"The room with the arch was incredible. The view was nice and cozy. Huge amount of space, with a nice balcony. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. For a quick weekend getaway, this is a wonderful spot to stay."

"Very very nice October 2026. We stayed 2-nights for the Twilight tours in Forks WA and the day trip was perfect location. Another great excursion was the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim."

"Fun place to stay. Very historic building. Old and a little spooky. Great location and we enjoyed both being in the centre of town and a different hotel experience."

"The staff is awesome. Very polite and helpful. Here’s the thing…I use Expedia to book a room and I have a dog. I filter my search to PET FRIENDLY and select a hotel. When I arrive at the Hotel the staff is completely oblivious to me having a pet. Then they charge me a PET FEE for $50. This gets old. I choose Expedia for convenience. WHY CANT EXPEDIA NOTIFY the property that I have a pet. It’s ridiculous."

"Amazing staff! Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Spacious. We’ll be back for sure!"

"CON: Without changing any settings, the shower gave random bursts of hot water mixed in with the warm water. The bed pillows were totally worn out. PRO: The mattress was comfortable. Parking was right at the room door. Sequim is a quiet town."
