Traveling internationally can be intimidating but Hotel Santa Croce put all the uneasiness I had being in a foreign land with my wife and son to rest. "This b&b is fantastic for the right people. To be clear, it is a fourth floor walk up with NO elevator. If this works for you, then the location is great. It’s walking distance to everything and yet not in a main square, so it is quiet at night. It takes some direction following to get in the first time, but everything was very well explained. "

"The hotel is on the second floor above. Thankfully there is a small elevator. Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. You can rent a room or a whole apartment. Somehow we ended up with the whole apartment. It was great, spacious, had a kitchen with full fridge and washing machine. Just down the street where a bunch of restaurants. Neighborhood was safe and walkable, centrally located. I would definitely stay there again."
