Part of the dining area is closed off and it got a bit noisy during breakfast, and the elevator area was dusty and a bit dirty. "Altogether a lovely room and super service. The only let down was the surrounding areas, many dilapidated buildings in the area. In terms of all other parts. Kept me informed, incredibly attentive and the cleaning service was top class. The buildings inside are very well maintained but the outside area was poor. 10 out of 10 service, 10 out of 10 for inside the building. 4 out of 10 for surrounding areas. Not under his control but a obvious area of concern and turn off."

"Roy hotel is in a good location where từ about 1 minute walk to local bus stop snd about 8 minutes to the train station where we can get a 10 minutes ride to the central areas of Athens. There are many coffee shops around in the early morning hours ( open at 6 am)."
