"Room was elegantly designed with really useful spaces. We had 4 massive checked bags (35 KG each) and the closet area accommodated them nicely (not unpacked). The staff were each exceptional and seemed to actually care about what you may want, anticipate your needs and offer help before you ask. An exceptional experience, we hope to be back, our stay was too short!"

"Loved the property and their hospitality. Air con was heating the room too much and was not able to cool the room which they attributed to the “winter season” - so it did get stuffy in the room, but opening the windows helped a great deal. Very friendly staff. Overall a good experience!"

"The villa is beautifully renovated. The room was clean & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the wifi frustratingly continually dropped out & the tv had no reception. The owner said it was because of a storm but I'm not convinced about that.The parking was easy, however, if you are a nervous driver, be warned, the road from Kotor is a single lane with 2 way traffic. It is a beautiful location."

"The hotel has outstanding architecture, beautiful interior design details, and was very clean. The staff were also wonderful! They picked us up from the parking area with a cool electric cart (as Perast is a no-car town), and they were so kind, welcoming, and helpful the whole time! In the evening, my partner realized she needed something from the store and there were only four minutes until it closed; she ran outside. At the reception, Sandra ran after her and insisted she hop into the shuttle cart; they made it just in time. My partner was so surprised and grateful that she went out of her way to help. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and it looked like it had been recently renovated. It was also lovely to have breakfast right by the water, in one of the nicest spots in Perast. One small detail I would recommend is to include complimentary water; this is something many hotels don't offer, but it makes a difference. And as Heritage Hotel Leon Coronato is so close to perfect, it might as well take the crown. "

"Great location right on bay of Kotor. Had a view of the Bay from our window which was absolutely beautiful and well worth extra money! Wide variety of restaurants and shops very easy walking distance. Parking was at ends of town & a little bit of a walk with luggage but on way back out to car, hotel offered a golf cart shuttle which made the transport with luggage easier. Breakfast on the water was fantastic. Nice selection & view could not be beat. Staff was friendly. Great property!"

"What a lovely boutique hotel with history. Extremely personable staff and the owner’s sister was so kind and genuine. They prepared our room with a lovely bouquet of flowers, wine, and delicious desert for our honeymoon. Such a pleasant stay! The room was amazing and very spacious. Would definitely stay again! "Very good location - close to Tivat airport and Kotor. The place has its own parking places, a supermarket, and a beach. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The bay water is very clean with rich aquatic life, and there are plenty of tasty mussels on each jetty. We recommend visiting The Rector's tavern in Gornji Stoliv, located just above the hotel. A very picturesque stone forest trail leads from the shore to Gornji Stoliv."

"We have had a wonderful 9 days at Castello Risano. Excellent service from booking and throughout the stay. The apartments are just beautiful and so well kept, very clean with lovely furnishings and the most incredible view over the bay of Kotor. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained, there’s free parking and a short walk down the hill to the local shops, restaurants and harbour. Local sites are easily accessible and a short drive to Perast and Kotor which are both beautiful. Anna and Kirk were great hosts, very helpful and attentive to any needs. Highlight of the trip was a speed boat trip to the blue caves which the kids loved! We had just a lovely time and would truly recommend a stay at Castello Risano, very authentic and a fab way to experience Montenegro. Thank you Anna and Kirk. "
