"Love the rooms, staff & location. Up scale, quiet and just overall a lovely place to stay. We find The Courtney Room (onsite bar/restaurant) a bit pricey and not really very fancy for what you're paying."

"Beautiful place to stay. The highlight is the breakfast prepared by a chef, and the lovely deer that were grazing outside. It’s also a short walk up the street to the lieutenant governor’s residence with the lovely walking trails and Craigdarroch castle."

"We got checked in and left for a few hours came back. They had done a full turn down service brought fresh ice, and water in our rooms. Remade the beds just a phenomenal experience. All of the staff were above and beyond. They were so helpful and wonderful and accommodating highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone. "The room was spacious, nicely decorated, modern, and had great views. The location is perfect. Can walk to old town, China town, the boat tours, parks, and the bay. And the staff are so nice and helpful. I would definitely stay her again!"

The room had so much personality, and right from the start, the staff made it clear that they would help us with anything we needed. Afternoon tea was flawless, and the breakfast was top-notch. "The hotel is located so conveniently to parks and attractions. Very walkable and quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast at the in-house pub. Only suggestion would be to have a bug screen for the windows so we can keep it open during the night. Room was a bit hot and had to have a fan on all night."

"The heritage building had so much character. We loved the unique decor. The room was charming, spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the abundance of towels, and the comfy robes. The breakfast was delicious and high quality, made fresh in front of our eyes, and the service was so friendly and kind. We'll recommend and return!"

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return"

"He was very helpful. He accommodated us early even though I gave him short notice. Very helpful staff. Location was great, because it was very close to my favorite tea shop "Murchie's". The place was so clean and free laundry was great to have. I will rebook this place again when I am visiting Victoria."
