"Great budget place to stay overall! Quick air conditioned ride into London on the Elizabeth line got us everywhere we wanted to go. Pros: Very clean room overall and seemed recently renovated. "What a find!!! Tucked away just off Cranbrooke Road and a five minute walk to the Elizabeth line, this place is a gem. The staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful, the room was pristine and the bed was comfy. Thanks Sunny, I will definitely be back and recommending The Wellesley."

"The decor was quite basic. There was a carpark (advertised on Expedia as free,but was charged £15). It was difficult to use and we were given no advance notice how to gain access. My reservation seemed to baffle them at first. The room was spacious, with large bed, very large TV, and the bathroom had modern quite classy fittings. "If you have an early morning flight from LCY and you reside quite far from the city then your cheap and best bet would be staying at this Ibis budget hotel for the night in barking since it’s located right on the motorway which takes hardly 12-15 minutes to reach the airport and the rooms are also clean and spacious enough to spend a night or two with pretty good and courteous staff and the best thing is the Tesco superstore right next to the hotel which is open till 12am on weekdays."

"All good, pleasant and helpful staff, decent breakfast, room and common areas all well cleaned. Great for transport links, Excellent value. Only gripe was an extremely hot room - set right in the roof of the property with fairly limited ventilation and headroom. Difficult to complain as I had been ungraded to this room when travelling alone prior to my family joining me the following day for a long weekend break. It was also an uncommonly hot period in a heatwave. But maybe ask not to be put in...
