Only enough milk for one teacup size drink. Ran out of toilet paper - only 1 part roll provided. Furnishings and carpet were very worn. Shower was dirty and marked I couldn't bring myself to use it, even if I had there was only one hand size towel and no mat for the floor. Carpet felt tacky. Bits of mould high on wall caught my eye as did the mark on the curtains (which didn't fully block out the window) Duvet too thin for winter. Promotional images are deceiving, giving the impression of a far nicer hotel. High Street location is enough in itself to justify the cheap price, the rest left me feeling ripped off, and needs attention.

Party central. Very noisy. Reception shifted blame onto outside bars & restaurants. Disturbed sleep. Don't recommend. Book Travelodge instead next time. Worst hotel I have stayed in covering all of my 57 years lifetime. Avoid.

I had a 3 problems in my room reservation which I booked through hotel.com. I was given wrong room, bathroom facility was not in all working condition and on our last day. The room door lock stopped working. And we have to wait 1 hour outside the room. And then after 1 hour, we were going another room without our personal belongs. When I raised this issue with hotel.com, they were not very helpful and did not help me at all. I would recommend everyone don't use or make any reservation through hotel.com because later on you will regret it.

Last time we complained, and this time Harun gave us a room that was absolutely ridiculous. The room was very dirty, and even the blanket was not clean, which is completely unacceptable.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, Harun’s attitude was rude and argumentative, with no apology or effort to help. Giving such a room to customers after they complain feels disrespectful.
I would like to mention that Fahim and Syed have always provided good service and treated us politely and professionally. Unfortunately, this experience with Harun ruined our stay.

Quarto com um cheiro horrível, parecia vindo do carpete. Não colocaram duas toalhas mesmo a reserva sendo para dias pessoas. Banheiro bem sujo. A cama é minúscula ela mais desconfortável que já dormi. Parece um pedaço de madeira com molas por baixo. O colchão tem um revestimento de plástico que faz com que o lençol fique escorrendo. Pedimos outro edredom para colocar por baixo e ajudar um pouco no conforto, porém não forneceram. Quando se toma banho molha tudo, pois não tem nada para secar os pés no banheiro. Não voltaria mais e não recomendo a ninguém.

The room was average in size but very dirty. The floor was stained, the bathroom had mold, and there was an empty cigarette box left in a drawer. The TV never worked despite us reporting it. On checkout day, we were locked out of one room before checkout time, and the delay in fixing this caused us to miss our train. One of our rooms was also entered and left open, although nothing was taken.
The only positives were the staff and the location. The staff were friendly and tried to help, and the location is convenient with many restaurants, a nearby train station, and a mall within a five-minute walk.

We have been regular customers of this hotel for a long time. Unfortunately, the same issue keeps happening. Previously, even though we booked a double room, the hotel gave us a twin room with two single beds. We complained at that time, and we were told that we needed to book a double room to avoid this problem in the future.
But yesterday the same thing happened again. We booked a double room, yet we were given a twin room with two single beds pushed together. Before going to the room, we asked the receptionist, but he said there were no other rooms available. This was very disappointing and completely unacceptable.
If the hotel cannot provide proper double rooms with double beds, they should not let guests book them. It feels misleading and like a waste of money, especially for loyal customers like us.
The middle-aged man at reception was also behaving very poorly. He didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience. What kind of customer service is that? When people choose to stay at your hotel, your staff should treat them with respect and provide proper service—not act in a ridiculous manner.
