"Lots of history. Self-guided tour of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms clean but hotel itself looks tired. Can walk to Union Square. Great deal for money."

"The location is amazing. There are lots of spaces for kids to hang out like an area play pool area to play cards. There is hot coffee in the morning waiting. No coffee in the rooms. Both of our rooms had small refrigerators, which were helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable Are the highlight was the outdoor pool. It sits in an area where you can get direct California sunlight. A rarity in San Francisco. Hotel was extremely accommodating to a few of my requests. Highly recommend."

"Overall good for what you pay for. The shared rooms are nothing special. They really have no character or charm to them at all and the view out our window was just a wall of the adjacent building so we also didn’t get natural light in. But for only like $27/night I won’t complain. I do love that they have a patio space with plenty of seating and decent WiFi.
