"Clean room, great service from the staff! Good food"

"I enjoyed my weekend stay here. The check-in was seamless, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the food was delicious. We had reservations to do the dinner cruise with Harriott 2 and this hotel was only a 2 minute walking distance from the loading dock. The only thing I would be aware of is the parking. There is a city parking across from the hotel that is very convenient. It is only $10 to park. When we parked, there was a black female in a white car that had put a sign...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa! We were traveling with our family of five on our way to Panama City Beach and needed a comfortable place to stop for the night. The staff went above and beyond by upgrading us from a Junior Suite to a Hospitality Suite, which made such a difference for our family. "I called ahead specifically to ask if they had a hot tub (not just a jetted tub) and was told yes. When we arrived, it turned out to be a single-seat jetted bathtub, not an actual hot tub. It also had an unpleasant smell. We chose not to stay and walked out, but were still charged for the full night. Very disappointing experience and not what was represented over the phone. I would not recommend."

"I stayed here for five days. Checking in was quick and easy. Room was pretty good, aside from the fact there was no shower curtain in the bathroom."

"The property is very close to the interstate. The refrigerator is much bigger than your typical motel has. The room appeared clean but had a musty odor. There was a hole in the bathroom wall where the door handle had hit it a lot. The tv had no remote. The staff brought a couple to the room but were not the correct ones. I wasn’t watching much tv so I worked around it. The staff was friendly but didn’t always understand what I was telling them or asking about."
