"We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough "

"We have been staying here for a couple of years for business, but this was the last time. If there is an event going on locally it is just too noisy. There is not enough insulation or sound barriers between rooms and doors. We were awakened by rude guest talking and slamming doors after midnight and children running up and down the hall. Not to mention we had to pay roughly 65.00 more than usual."

"The property is very nice. A little aged on the cottages. The buffet was very well done , fresh, well seasoned and flavorful. Rare for buffet. The breakfast buffet was a little of a let down. For 22 a person. The omelet station was closed no pancakes or waffles or French toast. So for the price and only having 8 or so options I felt it was overpriced for what you get. I will say the quality was great for both and could tell it was all fresh made with real ingredients. The over all stay was great...

"Up on arrival I had to pay a 100.00 security deposit that I didn't know about until I went to check in. It should be posted on the website that your required to pay a security deposit plus the cost of the room. I want ever stay there again and the man that checks you in is not nice at all."

"Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. "

"Our room was very clean and the air conditioner worked really well. It actually adjusted the temperature automatically for heat or cool as needed. The breakfast each morning was delicious, hot and provided a great selection. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful! Thank you!!"

"This placs is absolutely amazing. Its nice and quiet and the beauty of the water and the comfort of the rooms are definitely some reasons that we will be back. There are lots of places to eat and entertainment in the surrounding area. We had a kitchenette and it had everything we needed had we decided to cook and eat in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. "

"Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. "

"Good breakfast. Nice center lounge area with snacks available to allow groups to sit and visit. The room was spacious and comfortable; however, the tub drain was moldy since there is no fan in the bathroom. That was the only issue. Highly recommend. "
