"Great room and even greater staff"

"Room was awful. Smelled - wet towels shoved in closet with pipes. Cracks everywhere loud. TV didnt work- asked for help and maintenance- no resolution. Housekeeping came on day 4 of 5 day visit for trash. Looks better online than in person. I would NOT return."

"We always come to this hotel. But this stay wasn’t good and did not meet our expectations. We always come even when we lived in Michigan. Since we moved out of MI there was the renovation but the hot tub is a true gem of the hotel itself. This night if our stay the hot tub was under maintenance. We understand we stayed during a holiday. However, the hot tub wasn’t warm it was very cold. The staff knew it but failed to put an out of order sign on the pool door to at least let guests know the hot...

"Overall, the rooms were pretty clean. However, I noticed small details, such as old stains on the walls and some of the doors. But that could've been an entire building maintenance detail and not housekeeping. Check-in was amazing, as the staff was very understanding of my delayed arrival. While there was an incident fee of $50, it had nothing to do with my delayed arrival--rather, it was a standard procedure for the stay. Overall, I would stay at this property again!"

"The room was huge and nice BUT there was long black hair in our room from housekeeping and on the bathroom floor. There was even black hair in my white bath towels!! The desk tops and dresser tops were dirty. Gross! The first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night twice…..
