"The room was shocking. Very dirty and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Dirty carpets, dirty towels, even the net curtains at the hotel entrance were dirty. Avoid."

"Hotel remotely operated so no staff present. Hotel was clean but a few items needed repair .Light over bed was broken as were the handrails on banisters in stair well.Hotel was very basic. View from window excellent "

"Very pleasant 2 night break in Eastbourne Everything was good - plenty of parking outside hotel with a parking permit, food was good too Had a standard double on the 7th floor & it was spacious enough & certainly not cramped I did view a sea view/balcony room & that was superb All staff were so very friendly & very accommodating "

"Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "
