"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. "

"It's was an experience we wanted, to stay in a castle. The Ruthin Castle has a ton of history. It's a bit run down but I guess that could be the charm. The bathroom was beautiful, the rooms (bedroom and living room) were large. Overall, the place seemed quiet and dark. There is not a lot to do in Ruthin. The staff was nice and the room was clean."

"Room clean, restaurants clean, rooms need a little refurb as a little tired but beds very comfortable. Staff in all areas very helpful and friendly. "

"The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again."

We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious! Service in the bar was super friendly and the cocktails were very tasty! The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing between our room and the bar wasn’t great, so we could hear everything. "Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. "
