"We stayed in the Hacienda Suite, AMAZING. The private patio and ocean views were just what we hoped for. One staff member went above and beyond and was just incredible, Aldo helped make our trip the best it could possibly be. The few hiccups we encountered he attended to quickly and with care. Also, Amazing Bathroom, and great furnishing/decorating to make it a unique spot to stay."

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our two day trip here. We were there for the 4th of July Weekend! The location is perfect. Eric, Garrick, Adlai and Dash are all one of kind guys and great staff. You can tell they sincerely care about the guess. Even though I loved that we were right across the street from the beach, I still appreciated swimming in the mildly heat pool and soaking in the hot tub. This new hotel has great potential!"

"The hotel is quite grand looking and the room was cozy and clean, but there were serious plumbing issues in my room. The hot water handle for the sink was nonfunctional and the handle for the shower came off in my hand. The Surf Break Hotel is right across from the freeway and was quite noisy. You are charged $25 for breakfast and beach rentals like surf boards and bikes. That gives you a $15 credit at the cafe across the street, which was delicious, and access to the beach equipment, which...

"The hotel is located in a great area, lots of restaurants, beach is close, and the highway. But most important is that it is still quite. Staff was nice, polite. As for the room, interior was a bit outdated, but clean and had everything you would need. Our room had a bit of a stale smell but with the AC on it was better. It was a bit loud on the hallway, with the linen chute in front and the elevator close by. Was suprised the parking is not included in the price so make sure you do check...

I only wanted to add one more night. This is misleading unfair treatment to customers. Expedia had no desire to resolve this issue."

"We have stayed there several times while we were visiting family. We enjoy the breakfast buffet and the spacious, quiet rooms. We have not used alot of the amenities such as the spa, pool, and evening restaurant as we have been there mostly there to sleep."

"We had a power outage in morning so no lights and no coffee. The room itself was quite spartan - very basic. The property is next door to a dive bar and tattoo parlor, and a fair amount of road noise. On the upside it's very close to the water and a 5 minute walk to the pier. Temper your expectations - it's a cleaned up motel and nothing more. In retrospect I wish I had spent more to stay somewhere else. Maybe not on the peninsula."
