"A lovely historic hotel in a beautiful historic town. Our first time in St. Mary’s and we will definitely come back to Spencer house. The breakfast was outstanding! Very friendly staff."

"Absolutely loved it! Wish we stayed more than one night. Staff was amazing. We were an hour or so down the road and we got a call from the front desk. The cleaning staff found my wife had forgotten her diamond pendant and chain behind. They are shipping it to us. Definitely above and beyond. The common areas were great. We met some other guests that were quite friendly and entertaining. Will definitely come back and stay a long weekend next time we are in town. "

"Wonderful place that makes you feel at home! Beautiful rooms, located within walking distance to shopping, the river, and fantastic restaurants. Our hostess was so accommodating, she provided amazing breakfasts and afternoon snacks and wine. We will return!"

"This was a lovely BnB to stay in. The owners, Eric and Melissa, are very hospitable. The rest of the staff were so pleasant and helpful. There are always fresh-baked cookies put out for the guests along with peach iced tea in the fridge. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. You will not leave hungry. The food is simply delicious. The McMillan Inn is conveniently located so you are able to walk to most places."

"Breakfast was simply fantastic with lots of variety. Offered daily toast, evening bar/coffee with snacks. Hosts were friendly and polite with lots of recommendations for things to do/ places to go. Simply a great place to unwind and get massages, peace and quiet! Highly recommend and definitely will return!💕"
