"The stay overall was great. Clean facilities, helpful staff, and a very tasty breakfast that actually has turkey sausage (a major plus, as a member of my party can't eat pork). A major drawback was the elevator though. It was jerky, made concerning sounds, and as of 5/30/26 had not been inspected since 1/9/25. "The worst place we have ever stayed. From broken fixtures to just nasty. The whole place smells like pot and cigarettes. Our nonsmoking room smelt like a hookah bar. The 1st room the towels were just tossed on the beds and trash laying on the bathroom counter. They moved us 2 rooms down and half the lights didn’t work and floors were dirty a trash bag from previous people hanging from the towel rack. We were so tired we did ask for another room. "My stay was pleasant. Only issue I had was each day my key card was deactivated, so I had to go back down to have it activated each day I returned to the hotel and then on my check out day the housekeeper mentioned they had my room listed as empty. Which may explain why the housekeeper didn’t come by during my stay. I just wanted to have my trash disposed. Aside from that, I’d recommend this hotel for convenience and access to local stores and restaurants. I also liked the free parking!"

"Rooms were filthy. Bathroom fixtures were pulled out of the wall and the furniture was in poor condition. Bathroom lights barely worked and only one lamp in the room had a light bulb. Called the front desk to switch rooms due to poor lighting and the lady at the front desk came up harassing us to vacate the room while we were trying to round up two toddlers and all of our things, less than 10 minutes after issuing the new room key. Breakfast food was horrible too. It’s cheap for a reason"

"The grounds are incredible. The café is bare bones in the mornings, however the coffee is amazing. The kitchen did a nice job with after hours food. We were there during a wedding so lots of noise. Note, no daily housekeeping. Will stay there again overall, a beautiful location, helpful staff, and lots of amenities to choose from. The room was well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable."

"The room was clean, but televisions and door keys did not work. The reason told to me was that there was a thunder storm the day before and knocked out all the electronics and internet system. I ask for a discount and was told that Expedia would have to do that, because I made my reservation through them and not the hotel."
