"The hotel was about 80% empty, yet they gave us a non view second floor (NO ELEVATOR) room that, get this, SHARED A DOOR WITH THE ROOM NEXT DOOR!
We heard every word of their conversations, phone calls, Tv etc. and they were up at 5am making noise.
All unnecessary if they spaced the guests out for adequate privacy. The front desk had no explanation except telling us that we got the second-rate room because we booked with Expedia. I said, “What difference should that make because THE INN...

"I can't fully express my disappointment with this hotel. The website said newly remodeled rooms and the only thing that we saw newer than 1970 was the flooring. We booked this stay for a black tie event at the (unfortunately, sold out) Thayer Hotel, and were so uncomfortable with the condition of this room and property, that we drove over two hours to go home rather than stay the night in this poor excuse for an inn."
