"I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. "I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. "Excellent standard for a dog friendly hotel. Whilst the team behind the bar could not of been friendlier and helpful a warmer welcome on arrival would have made the whole experience perfect. Will definitely be booking again as so easy and wonderful that our fur pups are so welcomed 👍"
