"Lanson Place in Melbourne is an extremely nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. The hotel lobby/lounge is beautifully designed, the rooms are also very well appointed with beautiful views and the gym is especially nice!"

"Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne."

"The room was a great size and quite clean. I liked the ambiance of the lobby and how quiet the hotel was once on the our floor. Staff were polite but definitely could have been more welcoming."

"The photos of the room were very misleading for size and light. The room was also very dank and the aircon / ventilation gave a very mouldy and poor air quality to the space. Cleanliness was ok but, has bare minimum to pass a sheet change and put out towels become the markers of top quality city stay? The actual aesthetic and locality of the hotel is good and great access to cafes and bars. All walkable distance. If this kind of feedback actually leads to improvements then great. "

"Booked two rooms during our four nights stay in Melbourne. We were told our booking for the two rooms weren't recorded as one booking, which was weird because we booked under one booking reference. Not sure if thats a mixup from hotels.com or park hyatt. Regardless, we ended up not staying at the same floor, which is not such a big deal. "Nice comfortable room in a good location, but the bathroom was strange. Sliding walls to close it off were cumbersome to use. This could have been designed better. Lights are a bit of challenge as they are push buttons that down always click…. Shower was lovely and bed was very comfortable.
