"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied."

"A great, and very well (recently) refurbished Coaching Inn, right in the heart of Frome, with a fab breakfast and helpful friendly staff as well. Having stayed in a few "brewery chain" old coaching inns recently where the "updating" seems to involve only a coat of paint and a new shelf in the bathroom, it was very welcome to find that the rooms (anbd bathrooms) at the George have been completely and professionally re-done to "you'd be very pleased if this was your own house" standard.
