"This is an aparthotel that also has double rooms. I stayed in a room. It was large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bath tub in the bedroom, and also a separate shower room and toilet, but a tiny basin with not enough room to rest even a small toilet bag. The shower head worked but leaked. "Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

"Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely quality toiletries and excellent to have a coffee machine. Parking was close to the room, and it was really helpful to have the little verandah overhang as it was running as we left! Only issue was lack of signage from the main road"

"Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage)."

"I must say for a 6 to 7 hour journey from Scotland with my partner we loved it such a beautiful place staff were welcoming very helpful and respectful food was incredible and the rooms were absolutely spotless shower was amazing bed was comfy and the television isn’t small either the seating areas are stunning to definitely coming back again thank you to staff for the lovely stay"
