"The Moorings is a little piece of heaven on the island of Phuket. Removed from the hustle and bustle of the bigger beach towns, it sits on its own quiet beach. Crystal clear water , beautiful walks between coves and a space that has been frozen in time ! The rooms are super comfortable and clean with direct access to the pool and beach. "Beach bungalows on a deserted island, and yes, it IS a deserted island. Our stay at this resort on Ko Lon was probably the most memorable part of our trip to Thailand. The bungalows were very spacious and elegant, with fairly nice finishing throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- it felt like we were staying with friends! "We are from New Zealsnd,stayed here July 2025. The ocean was calm, stunning, incredible swimming pools, lovely staff, good food. The ocean everywhere else in Phuket is too windy and tough this time of the yea!

Great buffet. We are muslim and they had halal options available, labeled as well. They can also shuttle you to popular locationa like Patong. It is far from the airport but time flies as the drive is scenic.
