"It was beautiful area in Romsey community closed to all amenities, the palmerston rooms was well maintained and included healthy breakfast and the couple were amazing and beautiful well kept garden in the backyard. It was beautiful place to stay when you are in Southampton area. Reasonable price with amazing serviced. Highly recommended."

"Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. "lovely quirky inn from the 1600's the room was very welcoming, music on, lights on, water available and a very comfortable bed. and a very clean room. i had fish & chips dinner from their restaurant. my only complaint (and i did mention to the inn) was the silvery skin was left on the fish & it wasn't cod. for me that was a turn off, but the rest was very good. they can make you several types of coffee drinks and there is a full bar. the really nice thing is that you can have your food in...
