"My experience this trip was less than desirable. First, I worked nights so my sleep time was opposite the norm. Even with asking the front desk clerk to ask staff not to bother my room and having a do not disturb hanger, they knocked continuously every day. One morning I got to the hotel at just before 7 am. I was able to get a cup of coffee but no creamer was available (empty). There was a waffle maker and white bread slices…. Nothing more! Needless not a place I went back to. This hotel needs a make over- top to bottom."

"The staff was great; the front desk to the breakfast attendant and everyone In between. The beds, bedding, and pillows were comfortable. The place was clean but could use some sprucing up. The wallpaper was worn and peeling in some places and the bathroom fixtures were not in the best shape. The refrigerator kept or drinks very cool. And the breakfast was average."

"The hotel felt dirty and smelly. The room wasn’t clean enough even the bedding looked filthy. The bathroom had mold. We would never come back!"

"I write a lot of reviews and I always try to be fair. The hotel could have been cleaner in some areas. Glitz with fingerprints and sticky, poorly maintained areas that are frequented by guests does not impress. The chairs and tables in the dining area still had food on them even after my wife and I watched the staff “sort of” wipe them down. We didn't need food on the seat of our clothes. That evening the coffee in the lobby had something unidentifiable floating in it and the cream was curdled. Our room had a spill on the carpet that should have been cleaned before we got there. I was charged $50, which was a hold for "incidentals". Given that charge and not wanting to pay for the carpet cleaning from the aforementioned spill, I cleaned it myself needing only clean water and a rag from our vehicle. The staff during our stay was pleasant however, when I called 6 days after our stay to ask about the $50 hold that still showed on my bank account, the person who answered the phone was "short” with me. I'm polite, I wanted a little patience, understanding and clarity. That didn’t happen. We are not likely to stay here again, there are better choices in our opinion. Unfortunately for Drury Inn & Suites, our stay at a Tru hotel was a better experience all around."
