"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a beautiful location. Our room was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is well located, within walking distance to a main line station, bus network as well as a narrow gauge railway. There are also electric car charging facilities at a nearby car park. The food was good and all the staff were helpful and friendly."

"The Location is Beautiful, Grounds are very well maintained with stunning views of the hills. The actual building we stayed in was fantastic for the space you get and the facilities. It also meant there was no airflow, and on this very hot summer, it made it difficult to sleep or be comfortable in any way. "We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed."
