"We had a lovely time at the White Hart. The room was large, felt cottagey and the bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pie of the day. There was a lot of choice at breakfast, which was delicious also. We left our car at the pub and did a circular walk out to Castle Combe and back. Beautiful countryside with an unspoilt feel. The staff were friendly and accomodating. "

"We had an excellent stay at Whitley Coach House in March. The property had everything we needed for three nights away to explore the area. It was lovely and clean, very comfortable, light, airy and warm. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to prepare home cooked meals. The fridge has a good size freezer above which is very useful if you want to take frozen food with you. There is a good range of cutlery, crockery and glasses, saucepans, oven/roasting tray's. The bed was beautiful, a good size and very comfortable. Better than your average holiday accommodation. There was also an outside area with table and seating which would be great when the weather improves. Check in/out was simple, keys in key safe as advised by host Tim in good time prior to our arrival, along with clear directions on how to get to the property. Parking right outside the Coach House is off road and safe. Only noise we could hear was bird song. Tim was very friendly and provided us with good local knowledge. We were encouraged to call or knock at the main house if we needed anything at all, nothing was too much trouble. "

"We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lovely kids’ room and outdoor space that our little one really enjoyed. It’s also amazing for dogs, which made travelling with our pet so easy and enjoyable. We stayed in the 4-bedroom Grand Cottage, which was fantastic. Having private parking and easy access to all the facilities made everything very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it."

"Fabulous old building and super comfortable warm rooms, central location in Lacock. Great restaurant with delicious vegan and vegetarian options and a super full English breakfast too for the meat eaters. Lovely staff that are knowledgeable and friendly. "
