There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which...

"Hotel very conveniently located to city centre and all it offers, culturally - great museums, sustenance - great restaurants and a lovely walk along the river in the sunshine, also easy walking distance from the station. Room was clean, but a sock was discovered from a previous resident on the desk chair. Bed was comfy, but springs very squeaky. Free breakfast - a wide choice of hot and cold foods. "The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner/host ended up greeting and checking us into our room. Gave us an upgrade and onsite laundry facility was a bonus. Made several recommendations for dining and breakfast. Overall the stay was fabulous!"
