"We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. The room was basic, but clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable. We ate dinner there as well and it was delicious. The breakfast was good. My husband got the full English and I got scrambled eggs and bacon. The scrambled eggs seemed to be the rehydrated kind, but otherwise the meal was good. We would stay here again. "

"We’ve just spent 3 wonderful days at The Beaumont Hotel celebrating our anniversary. We had a superior double room on the third floor overlooking the park which was accessible by a lift. The room was both spacious and extremely comfortable. Very clean and well appointed with a large en suite bathroom equipped with a large bath and rainfall shower. Quality toiletries are supplied too.
