"The staff member had trouble working the iPad, couldn’t take our room deposit, had to call the owners multiple times, and multiple people kept coming to the desk asking for more towels, soap, and if they could extend their stay. Come to find out, motel 6 operates as a homeless shelter. We tried to cancel but the staff member couldn’t “figure it out.” Stay away from this place if you are a just traveling. The staff member said there are a lot of unsheltered living under the bridge nearby as well....

"We love to stay at the Maple Tree Inn. Great, friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast is always good. If issues arise with your room they are handled in a very timely manner. Reasonably priced. Easy to get to. A plus rating all the way around. "

"Check in was smooth and staff was kind. Location of hotel was unsafe and pictures of property online were overly enhanced compared to what you see in person. One out of our two rooms was not clean upon stay and we were unable to get ahold of staff to help until second day when cleaners came. Loud surroundings at night with people walking close to doors and testing whether doors were locked, felt unsafe to go to sleep. "

"We checked in late and kids wanted to swim in the pool at around 7pm. All we could smell was weed from a table with young adults sitting in the corner smoking weed and drinking beer. Small outdoor area for pool. Not very good for children at all. Dead flies in the pool also. Also, after check in, I was asked via text if front desk could do anything for me, I asked for an extra towel as we didn’t have enough for the four of us. Towel never came. I let them know the next day, and all they said...
