"The room, at a glance appeared clean. But, Someone (property manager) should visit each room and check the cleaning. The baseboard tops in our bathroom and the floor corners are dirty. (room 404). The carpet vacuuming should be checked at the points were the carpet meets the walls and bed. A nozzle should be used. The bed and pillows were very nice and comfortable. Counter tops were clean. "Breakfast is great and all homemade while you wait. Friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a beautiful old Inn and very homey."

"We only stayed one night for Valentines Day but the room was very pretty and the dinner at Shovel Handle Pub was phenomenal! Some of the best steak tips I ever had! And the view is lovely as well. We didn't come to ski but if we had, the hotel is at the base of the mountain and would have been perfect. The location is convenient to everything in Jackson."
