"Disappointing Stay and Poor Customer Service My room at the Hampton Inn in Crown Point had a strong, musty smell throughout my five-night stay. I reported it to the front desk and was told the carpets were scheduled to be cleaned the next day. Instead, I had to walk on wet carpet for the rest of the day, and the smell never went away. What was most disappointing was that no one offered to move me to another room. I expected better cleanliness and customer service. Unfortunately, my concerns...

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve been to in Merrillville. I used to stay in Merrillville when I’d come home to visit Gary. The quality of a lot of the other hotels in the area made me choose other areas like Portage or Hammond, but this hotel will definitely be a viable option if I choose not to commute further. Clean property, dope room. Very spacious. My only complaint is that the remote was not compatible with the television so I couldn’t use it."
