"The staff were all very friendly and tried to be helpful. However when we arrived there was no one in reception and we had to wait 10 mins before someone turned up. When we arrived at our room which was large spacious and generally clean, there was no kettle to make tea. There was fecal material in the toilet bowl. Upon walking down two flights of stairs I was told to get hot water fro the coffee machine. Eventually a kettle was found. Evening meal basic but good. Breakfast poor overcooked...

"Loved the patio door in our room leading to the garden outside. Havent had this before and thought it was just lovely. I had my dog with me and he enjoyed being able to go in and out . Hotel room was spacious and staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely book again!"

"Really lovely stay at the Angus. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff are all friendly, and attentive. Spa was quite basic (pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) but still lovely to be able to go for a swim. However, the area round the pool and spa needs some maintenance as there was plaster broken off walls, missing tiles and the roof has obviously had some kind of issue. "While I enjoyed the hotel, at times the rooms got warm as there was no air conditioning. I wouldn’t have had any issue with this if the provided fans were powerful enough to support cooling and air circulation. Meanwhile, the restaurant menu was limited and I found myself having the exact same options each day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thankfully, the restaurant staff were generally helpful and friendly while the food was in fact delicious. I also paid for a later checkout time of 2...
