"Valentines evening with overnight stay. Check in easy, mostly done online prior to arrival. Room was good size and very clean, hotel situated along side of busy A55, but road noise in room was minimal. Had small lunch and then dinner in the evening, the service from Heather was excellent, full of smiles and attentive, even though it was busy with the amount of staff they had on serving. "I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others."

"Room was tidy but a bit worn in places, shower wasn’t very warm, property itself was a bit run down, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes on entry and through out the hotel, room was fresh though But the staff were lovely, breakfast was brilliant, out the way off the main road and quiet at night bed was very comfy! Stayed for a wedding reception, the event room was really nicely decorated and spacious! Bar a bit pricey though £5 pint of coke! "
